Fireproof material?

Question:what is the best fireproof material to use for open flames!

DON"T USE ASBESTOS, as it's against the law to use, as it is so dangerous, it's carcinogenic. I don't know what your trying to do, but maybe using fire resistive glass may work, solid reinforced concrete, plate steel, depends on what your trying to do! Need more info!!
also fire brick, hard brick, cement board, like I said it all depends what you are trying to do. Good luck
