Bedroom ideas!! Calling all creative and artist people!?

Question:What Can I do to make my room feel more enjoyable. I love my room but I feel like it needs more "BAM"! Sometimes I feel a little angry with it beacuse I have to share a bathroom with my brother and it's across the hall. I have a desk with a computer except it's downstairs. I could make room for a desk ,but my parents won't let me get one even if I pay for it!!! They said they would think about it but for now what can I do to bring more "WOW" to my room. I need tips and ideas.

Thank you I appriciate all anwsers!

Simply moving your furniture around brings a different mood, and perspective in your room.
You could pick a color that you really love (something bold), and use that color as your "swatch" to redecorate your room. If you don't mind the expense, you could buy a new comforter in that color, along with new sheets, curtains, and even a cool rug.
If your parents don't mind, you could even paint your own walls! As an artist, I would love to have the freedom to do whatever I want with my room's walls. If anything, you could go through magazines and make a huge wall collage of things and pictures you like.
Also, to give your room a tranquil feel, you could get an indoor tabletop water fountain! They look awesome, and it can even help you to relax!
Good luck with reinventing your room!

add some art to the walls. make it unique, Make your own curtains.
whew i just may be an immature jerk but i thought your were goin somewhere else with the beedroom ideas...cant help though im in college as long as its still standing its fine with me
You can always paint. You don't even have to go the whole room, you can just paint a design. Hanging posters, paintings, or fabric on the wall is an easy way to change the room. Rearraging funiture can help, too, and adding light fixtures can make the room seem more open or more seclusive, depending on what you want. Go online and look at funiture websites. They will give you a lot of ideas. Try www.pbteen.com
They have a lot of really cool rooms that you could duplicate.
Whats your favorite color? Blue? Green?
Ask permission if you can paint your walls your favorite colors (example: two walls blue, two walls light blue). Get a matching comforter. Get cute fabrics that match your favorite color and learn to turn them into pillows! OR take an old t-shirt and turn it into a pillow! Take some fabrics and learn to make valances. (forgot how to spell it!) Also, if you rearrange your room in a certain way (differs per room) your room can seem WAY bigger! Hope it helps, and good luck!
you should decorate according to your style. are you a dark, gothic or a cheery girly girl? well, get some color schemes going, you know. pick out some of your favorite colors and throw ideas around until you find what you like. you can get some posters of your fav. bands and singers. you can rearrange furniture to make the room look bigger. there's alot of stuff you can do.
Paint the walls your favorite color; then, add other things that you like.flowers, trees, the sky...maybe even a few animals. There are quite likely some talented art students at your school; you could invite them over for 2 or 3 days to help with the creations added to your basic coat of paint. Have fun and be happy about this; it's gonna turn out to be wonderful.
Maybe spice it up with a faux finish on 1 wall. Behr paint sells all sorts of suede, sand stone, crackle, and metallic paints. Just painting 1 accent wall could change the feel of your room and won't break the bank.
