How do I remove the backing of linoleum stuck to the wood floor after pulling up the linoleum?


Question:I have just stripped 3 layers of linoleum and tild off of my bathroom floor layed by previous owners, now I am left with the white backing to the linoleum glued to the wood floor . Just the very top layer of the bottom layer of linoleum came off, how do I get the white backing off the floor ? Please help, I am sore, blistered, bruised and very tired and sorry I ever started this job at this point. Thanks.

You can lay 1/4" luan over it and then your new floor. What type of loor do you plan to insyall?
