Best way to apply new bathroom paneling over smooth surfaced masonite panaling?

Question:I'm remolding my bathroom and would like to know the best and easiest way to apply paneling over existing paneling?

If nailing isn't an option, then use silicone. put it on in round circles, and press the panel against the wall. The circles act as suction cups. I know that there my be a problem with warped products, you may want to use 2 by 4's standing vertical against both walls and flex a 1 by 4 between them horizontally. You might use construction adhesive in circles also, but be care full to make sure that you smooth it out, preventing lumps behind the panels.
