Question:so today i got 4 new pillows,a nice conforter cover((for my down conforter)) new sheet set,4 pillow cases,a bed skirt and one of those pretty net things for over ur bed((one of the squar ones,like not the lil round ones)) and it all cost about $400.so u think thats really to much? even tho all the stuff was really nice...

Linens are one of the things that I think people should really invest in so I dont think you spent too much at all. If you go to any of the department stores, pretty much any comforter (without sheets, shams, etc) will run you $300 to $400. It's one of those situations where you get what you pay for.
definetly way too much for your bedroom. you only need pillows,bed sheet,comforter or blanket and no need to go wild over comforter accessories.and it would save you more money if you dont buy all the accessories to comforters.
too many extras i say...but if thats how u like it, i guess it suits you. maybe the $400 is just a little bit of extra change for you
i dont think i would have paid that much either... plus down is harder to wash and depending on type it collects more dust and dust mites.( i know gross right?) sorry.. plus where i am at ( illinois) its getting to be a hot summer and i dont want all of that stuff on my bed.. but to each his own!

You can find cute cheaper alternatives and you can put your money somewhere else. I mean your style is going to change and you will want to change that $400 dollar bedroom set is going to be dragging you down.
i think you spent a decent amount. i think that you got your $400 out of what you bought.
