Teen room decorating ideas?

Question:i am a teen and redoing my room. i can paint the walls any way i want to but i dont have very much money and i hate the furniture thats in there now. any ideas?

Answers:
Walmart makes inexpensive paint. U can do glaze w/ the paint which would stretch the paint on the walls. W/ glaze u could sponge it on, rag it on, brush it on, plastic bag it on, bubble packing it on...

U can paint u'r furniture to give it face lift & mayb u would like it better. Use enamal base paint or if u don't u would have to put a varnish over to protect from the wear & tear.

Pick out colors that u like or something in the room that makes u happy. Go w/ that theme/style & pick out the 1 -3 colors that u like. Paint the walls 1 or 2 of those colors w/ the glaze & use the 3rd one for u'r main accent... mayb u furniture.

B creative & have fun!

Try a crackle finish (Behr makes it). Or you could paint 1 wall a metallic color and the rest could be a different coordinating color. Also, Ikea is relatively inexpensive. Bombay kids has a lot of the funky teen stuff too. They have Bombay outlet stores that carry all of the teen stuff also, just clearanced.
