Whats a good substitute for shinning wood?

Question:

Answers:
I would think that you could find many products for shining/polishing wood furniture, if that is what you're wanting to do. I really would be careful about vaseline, as I cannot imagine putting that on wood. It seems as if that would make the wood sticky, but maybe I am wrong. I would certainly test a hidden area first. What I would suggest is any high gloss wood polish. You can get the kind that is liquid and probably will protect more than a spray for pennies per use. Liquid Gold is a good, inexpensive wood polish that also cleans. You can also use Lemon Oil, which is another inexpensive wood polish. You might try going to a Bed, Bath & Beyond or Linens 'n Things and asking there. They even have an almond polish that is easily affordable and that gives your room a nice smell after polishing the wood nicely. Good luck to you and I hope this helps!
