Decorating child's room in an apartment?
Question:My daughter is 8 months old. We live in a rented condo and can not paint the walls. I really want to make her room over into something sweet, girly, and playful. I have ran into a few problems, however. First of all, I live in a rental so painting is not an option. Second, my husband wants to have a say so in her room-he does not want it tooo girly. I have ran out of ideas to suit all our needs. Also, I do not like the character ideas such as Pooh, Tigger, Mickey, etc. Please help!

my sister did a butterfly theme.its cute, all different colours of butterflies.even different sizes of butterflies hanging from the ceiling.and she covered lower part of the walls with so many coloured butterflies,so that it doesnt show the pain inbetween, and it looks like the half was painted from butterflies only.and made the mattress with tiny butterflies here and there and different colours of pillows.
you could do a jungle theme, all little kids love animals, and put a girly spin on it. maybe colorful animal prints.
under the sea my girls love the fish theme ans use some nets on the walls to put stuffed fish in also we hung some blow up firh and beach balls from the celling you can get more girlie colors pinks and purpules
You may wish to try simple daisies & flower artwork to hang on the walls. Or even a quilt that all of you like.
