Which is best for my kitchen?
Question:This is a picture of my kitchen, the fridge is now a black one, the color is actually Crimson and not as bright as the photo suggests:

We have tried in vane to find tile that matches everything, we have considered a simple black tile also, but I think it will be too overwhelming.
Honest input please=)
We are only going to be here for two more years and then we would like to sell, so I would like public opinion, not just my own.

First, let me say I love that crimson color! I don't like boring kitchens. We just painted our kitchen walls Granny Smith apple green and LOVE it!
I'd pick the second tile. Subway tile is very popular right now, and the stainless version is perfect!
then can u do a tile that would match one of the colors in the counter top? Have u looked at these items next to u'r counter top & cabinets? IF u have & they seem to really go, then go for it.
What style r u going for b/c the lst one seems little European but the 2nd one a bit more contemp...
It's beautiful; however, the Crimson may be a liability when home is for sale. Stainless steel is more current style and gives additional richness; but may be hard to keep clean in grooves & remain shiney.
Have you considered mirrored squares with decorations?
I have seen mirror squares with gold and some with black decor. Still not easy to keep shiney near a sink, but less grooves for crud.
