Can advantech sub-flooring be exposed to the elements for 6-7 months and still be built on?

Question:our builder went chapter 11.house sat framed and sheathed for 6-7 months in wet weather. is it structurally safe and buildable?

Answers:
If both the roof and walls were sheathed then yes. If just the walls then you have an issue. If all of the sheathing had tar paper and/ or house wrap then it should be fine.

not recommend I would have it inspected before I closed it in
Hopefully you have some sort of roof. If so, get a 5 gallon bucket of a wood preservative and put on top of the subfloor. If anything, you can at least slow down any moisture going into the floor. Floor Co. makes a great product.
