How to repair drywall?

Question:

Answers:
Well it depends on the type of problem. If it is just a crack, apply fiber mesh tape and then Durabond joint compound, it is a plaster based compound that sets up quick and very hard. If you have a hole smaller than the width of the tape, you will need to fill it in with a piece of wallboard. Using 1 5/8" drywall screws, screw a small piece of wood to two sides of the hole for something to screw the patch onto. then just tape the joints using tap[e and compound.
