Advise on building a wood shadow box fence.?
Question:Where do I start, any good web sites, tips on keeping it straite and true, where should I buy the supplies I am capable of following instructions and the digging and physical labor required and I have help. How long would it take for 300 feet do I nail or screw i could get a nail gun. I have access to almost any tool but an auger.

Hire someone to come in and put in the fence posts in the ground it's hard to get them straight, after that if you can measure cut and nail you can do it in a day.
Start with little flag markers. To keep it straight and true - use lots of string - run the string one end to the other to mark were to place the posts and to true-up the height. As for nails or screws - depends on where you live. Nails will pull loose with temperature changes and allow the fens to shift. I live in an area that gets into the 90's F in the summer and -20F in the winter and we must use screws and bolts to hold things together.
