50's glamour. i'm not sure how to paint my walls?

Question:I am planning to do my room in the 50's area, but I'm not sure how to paint the walls. I was thinking a cream, or beige for the main part of the room and then have accents of red. Any thoughts?

recreate the entire set from happy days
That would probably work, depending on the main color theme you're going with. The 50's brought lots of very distinct colors unlike any other era. lots of deep aquas, deep pinks, blues (not country blue) & color combos (mostly adding black with the aquas & pinks)
Hi, For a 50's glamour look use light pink coloring with plenty of white accents. Use satin accent pillows of a contrasting color-maybe blue or turquoise. Furniture should be blond or light. Curtains a silk or satiny material. On the walls use pictues of glamerous stars from the 50's like Rita Hayworth, Betty Grable and Marilyn Monroe.
