You sound very creative! I could be simply supportive and say, "Go for it!" Or I could be cautiously supportive and suggest a few things. First of all, you didn't say how large your bedroom is. Dark colors, like chocolate, make a room seem smaller. Also, is your furniture light colored or is it a medium to dark brown wood? Do you want the furniture to fade into the wall color.or stand out? And you didn't say how large those polka dots would be. Here's a suggestion: Construction paper is cheap. Buy some and cut out dots in your colors and tape them on the walls. Live with those dots for a few days before you finalize your project. Paint only one wall brown, maybe the wall behind your bed. Do the others in one of the soft pinks or even white. Do I sound like a mom? Well, I am, and my daughter once painted her bathroom a dark, very dark purple. She wanted to change it after less than a year. Good luck!
Wow, that sounds great! It's also great that you sound like you know what you want. Polka dots are very in right now. I say go for it, and with your Dad (the painter) helping out, I'm sure it will come out that much better!
it sounds cute. i've been whating to do something like that in my room, but we rent a house so i can't. p.s. i'm 13.
Sounds excellent, as long as the brown isn't too dark.
But it sounds like you have a real knack for decorating, kudos!
