Where can i purchase "raw" unstained butcher block countertops and are they easy to stain?

I saw some at Lumber liquidators. How easy they are to stain depends on the type of wood. I don't know much else about that, although I do know that using a sponge brush instead of one with bristles makes finishes of all kinds appear much smoother. Good luck!

Why do you want to stain them? Maple butcher block tops are designed to be raw, and maintain them with mineral oil. If this is for something else, use ZAR stain and them top coat with ZAR polyurethanes(I would not recommend this if you are using this for a cutting board).
