Im 12 and my room idea is... wat do yuo think?

Question:Ok I need to know if this is a good idea...

I wanna paint my walls Chocolate Brown. On one wall Im going to put White, light pink, and hott pink polka dots all over it. Then I wanna get a reversable hott pink and light pink bed spread (one side is hott pink ones a light pink) and brown pillows. And on a small wall between 2 of my closets i wanna put a HUGE fancy D (in white paint)! My Dad is a painter so he would do it. I want it took look very loungy kinda starbucksy.

What do you trhink about this idea? Im 12 if that helps.

Answers:
That's a really good idea. It suits your age, and plus you wont have to redo your room for a while cause its not a child theme or anything. I think its a great idea, and all the colors go very well. Just don't over do it, and don't choose allot of different colors or it might be a little bit messy, and awkward.

:]

I love it! I'd love my room to be like that but I have stripes!

Perfect! You have good taste!

:]

Luv/KoDi!
It's cute. But I am not sure. Dark colored paint always makes the room look smaller then it actually is.
I guess its okay
thats so cool sweetie! but i dont think the brown ceiling will look the greatest:)sorry hun. i think that your ceiling should be an orange or yellow. but the rest seems really hot! love it!

with love, Avrilbabe
Well i like it but how r u going to like it when you r 17?
If u still think ull like it then go for it!
i think thats a great idea and im 13 and even i would do that except i would have to change the big D to a big J.

make your room like that!
Yea! That sounds like a great idea! I love all the colors that you want and sounds like something that I would do in my room! Let your room express what you feel!
It sounds pretty awesome! You may want to think about painting polka dots on parallel walls just to even it out and lighten it up a bit because that much dark brown might make your room look like a cave (and not match with your bed spread). But also, one thing to think about is if you'll grow out of it in a few years. But the idea does sound pretty awesome to me.
Its cool! I love it. Its awesome for a 12 year old. H
sounds amazing :) wish my room was like that! great idea. if you want great furniture ideas or decorations go to pbteen.com it's amazing :D
i dunno about the big letter, but the rest sounds really cute. brown and pink tho? i dunno, part of me thinks it'll be cute while the other part is thinking it might clash a bit, im not sure. but id give it a try! good luck
Since your 12 anything goes as long as your parents agree. Sounds okay to me bit not my taste. Hope everything turns out the way you it to.
Sounds very cute I think you should change the wall colors make one wall brown the others light pink and put the polka dots on the brown wall. Only because brown is a very dark color and all the walls painted that color would make your room very dark (kind of like a cave) You seem to want a very vibrant sleek looking room and I think you can do what want just change the colors so you don't lose your cute design to darkness. Of if you do want that kind dark feeling (much like starbucks make sure you have a lot of good lighting in the room (various places).
hot pink and limegreen! choclate polkadots i guess!
