What colour shall I paint my room?

Question:I'm an 18 year old girl btw, so want something to suit me. My room is normal in shape and is medium in size. Thanks

Answers:
since you are now 18, you can have a matured looking design yet maintain a cheery, posh bedroom fit for your age. i would suggest shades of green.. it would also look good on brown colors. you can have soft and pale green walls..paint one in a darker shade of green so dat it can be your accent color. green is also relaxing since it is the color of nature. your furnitures can be in brown shades. you can accessorize your room with green colors.. like green beddings and curtains..some accent green pieces..just dont overdo it. random distinct pieces are advisable. keep it minimal and you can achieve a modern look.

its up to you what color suits your taste. you can even change the green color concept to pink to have a very gurly and posh room. red is also nice and achieve a hot room.

Lavender

Or

A subtle blue shade
Light pink or lilac!
BRIGHT SUNSHINE YELLOW!! i lv it
White, with hints of pink and lilac. Very feminine. My daughter is 20 and her room is like this. It's lovely.
I'd say to keep your room plain, paint it cream/white, or if that is too boring a very creamy pink, or a very pale blue. This way you can accesorize your room more with blown up photography, and paintings.

Another idea is to pain just 2 out of the 4 walls like a bold pink or a bold turquoise. so it adds emphasis but not over dramatic and too much.

hope I have helped
why not choose 4 diffent colours and paint each wall diffent then you could choose the one you liked the best
Depend what colour your furniture and accessories are.

I painted my room a couple of months ago with 3 walls very light blue and the main wall a medium blue, it was a bit of an experiment cos I wasn't sure whether blue on blue would work but I love it!

My room has blue (obviously) and beigy-brown tones - bed has leather headboard and accessories mix brown and blue which go together really nicely
My room is a lovely milky cocoa colour with cream above my picture rail, I just bought a chocolate carpet and I have a leather headboard, storage boxes and blanket box, I have cream curtains and duck egg blue bedcovers, I also have chocolate and stone coloured cushions on the bed.
Everyone comments on this room and says how nice it is.
If you go to www.dulux.co.uk they have a virtual room that you can experiment with colour wise. It's brilliant. You can choose roughly the shape of the room and add in things like the colour of eg your living room suite. Then you can pick colours to match or complement it. You'll be in there for hours!
From talking to my neice who is 16 the latest colors or should i say trends is either brown and pink or a bright green mix match it and see what combo you come up with Good Luck !
You could pick a color that you like and then paint all four walls a different shade of that color.
ok do not go with bright yellow or peach ewew...that would be horrible.you could do light pink and lavendar if you want thats cute. but some girls at 18 want the grown up room so you could go with like a brown and light pink or brown and teal. just depends on your syle i would love to help you more if you need
this time of night black, then no one will see where you missed,
