What are some decorating ideas for teen girl bedrooms?
Question:I want a modern room and I am thinking about a lime green accent wall, and the rest white, white trim, hardwood flooring, and hot pink and bright blue to accent. What do you think?

You might want to have a little green tint (barely visible) in the same tone as the lime in the white paint for the walls to pull it together. Keep the trim bright white and maybe an icy blue tint in the ceiling. I'm not sure about the blue AND pink - I would go with either blue OR Hot Pink. It will have a crisper look if there isn't too many different main/accent colors. What about a tropical theme? It sounds as though you like color. With the tropical theme, you can have a few main colors and lots of little punches of many colors. That would work best with your lime and blue, but I would go more with a brighter pale shade of blue with this.
polka dots are big right now. You can get a solid bed set. Then pretty easily paint different size polka dots throughout the room in fave colors. For a boy, I like the orange and camo look.

Sounds like you are a natural interior decorator. Now you just need to find a theme.
Beach? Tropical? Bikini? Surfer? Designer Purses? FlipFlops?
You can find inexpensive additions if you just decide your theme.
There are ideas on link below. It doesn't take bunches of money to do what they've done. Just write down a list of things you like in these rooms and go hunting. TJ Maxx and other outlet stores have real deals on accent pillows, etc.
Craft stores have all the other creative fun stuff to make and design to suit your color scheme.

Well, are you the one who will be occupying the room? It sounds like you have it all planned out and exactly what YOU want. Is that what the teen who will be occupying the room wants?
your idea sounds really cute. lime green and white go together and like someone said polka dots are huge so maybe to get them hot pink and bright blue in there do them polka dots on your walll..ewew...never mind that wouldn't be cute scratch that idea. i think you really need to choose one color or the other either lime green adn pink or lime green adn blue not both pink and blue. the colors will start to clash too much adn it will be a mess! but everything else sounds good !
