You probably want to use lots of windows, so you can look at the beach often. But be prepared to spend a lot of $$$!

u may need to go to a local drafter where the beach is.they know all the codes for that area and probally some builders or subcontractors that can do the work..
I would go to www.thehouseplanshop.com. They have alot of houseplans on their site. They even have a section just for Beach/Coastal Homes. I think you really like what you see there.
