What to do about bad carpet job?

Question:We had new carpet installed less than two months ago and it is already matting in a high traffic area. I am not satisfied with the answer the company (Empire) gave me. They said this is normal and there is nothing they can do. When I said that was not good enough they told me they can send an independent company to analzye the carpet. What should we do to get our carpet fixed?
