Good to buy a house in philipinnes davao?

Question:building a house and to live there,property value increases yearly?

Answers:
Property and land IS a good investment in the Philippines, especially if you need a place to live anyways .

BUT .

If you are not filipino you cannot own land regardless of what anyone tells you and you are in for bad news.

If you are just looking for an investment again I would be wary. It is hard to keep squatters off and make sure that your place is taken care of if you are not there.

If you are not from Davao or have just recently moved there, again, beware. It is easy to get ripped off in a real estate transaction and pay money for something you don't end up owning. I would want to live there a while first, and make sure I knew the land's history before buying it.

If you be extra cautious and know the area though it can be a great investment.
