What's your opinion?
Question:I have 2 bedrooms in my house that we painted a really lovely sky blue and a lavender-ish color.
The lavender room is my stepdaughter's and we painted the blue room before we even got pregnant with our now 3 month old little boy. Anyway, I don't want to deal with repainting right now since I'm working full-time and would rather spend the time with him, but my little boy needs the larger room that is my stepdaughter's. His bedding is mostly baby blue, but does have some of that same shade of purple in it.
So my question is (just curious)...what do you all think about a little BABY boy having a purple room? At least until he gets bigger and goes to a twin size bed and we do something totally different. I just hate to paint it another color knowing that in probably 2-3 years, we'll be changing it again.
Answers:
Go 4 it!! babies don't know.. u can add several other colors along w/ the blue.. or dk blues or greens... Since when does boys rms always have to b JST blue? Then as he gets older & u can poss paint more... either re-paint the room or jst 2 walls in a darkr blue or green or put stripes on one wall.
U'll b fine rt now. & as far as u'r step dtr.. she can add the lavender & purples/yellows/pink to his room to make it more girly.
DO it! it doesn't matter y u'r doing it... jst do it
:-)
try pink.
No, it wouldn't look good. Also I can't understand why a 3month old child would need a larger room than the stepdaughter.
I don't understand how a baby would NEED the larger room.
is it the baby who needs it, or the mom? when my boys were young, we moved around alot (hub is military) any changes from their regular routine-especially where they are accustomed to sleeping & feeling safe & secure really do upset babies.
I don't think baby would mind I couldn't tell you what color my room was when I was a baby. Then again I kinda like purple , but of course a dark manly purple.
My question is: how does older step-sister feel about a smaller blue room?
I would say wait to paint until he is older. chances are right now he doesn't really care what color his wall is. this will save you a paint trip.
