How to refrubrish out dated kitchen cabinets?

Question:I live in an apartment built in 1960, It a coop and the landlord doesn't fix anything. I want to refurbish the outdated cabinets in the kitchen. I just finish painting the apartment and the cabinets looks really dingy. Can you help me?

The cabinets can be sanded and then painted. Also put new knobs and handles on in A style that fits the design of your place, It will look like A new kitchen, yet very inexpensive
