red and white (mine is)
Purple
Yellow it's cheerful, and so different then your comfort zone.
And would go Great with maple, and make the room look bigger.
A white, and throw up a bunch of your favorite posters, don't let those walls stay bare =)
Pink and gray is nice if sophisticated is what you are going for. Pink and green if you are looking for something more playful. I love two tone rooms. I painted my living room a dijon mustard yellow and a burnt pumpkin orange. Keep in mind when you are using more than one color and want it to go together, that if it occurs naturally in nature, then it will probably look ok. Purple and green are also nice, as is a buttery yellow and pale purple. Take advantage of spring and look at two tone flowers to see what goes together, who would have thought that purple and red go together, but they do if you look at a hanging plant called fushcia.
Ask your`re Dad to get you some tartan paint
Hi... if you like pink and gray then pink and gray it is!
if you want to add more you can go for purple, violet, light blue, light green, red and maroon, or other neutrals like white and black for more drama... but of course not all these colors together...!!
if u go with only pink and gray, then use different shades and degrees of both and use more patterns and texture to bring life to your monochromatic scheme... use bolder colors for smaller areas and accessories... and use more neutrals like white.
HAVE FUN... GOOD LUCK!
paint it half bottom and half top eg. bottom grey and top pink or whatever, remember if you have maple maybe a lavender would be nice
What direction does the room face, north, south, etc?. If you have a north facing room, avoid whites because it will always feel and look cold. North facing rooms need warm colours.
Buy yourself some tester pots of different colours and paint a patch on each wall. You will amazed at how different the same colour can look in different light.
Pink and grey can work, so can red and grey, personally, I think it is a bit 80s.
Look for inspiration in the 50s,60s,and 70s. Very fashionable at the moment and it is look that can look stunning.
What about a dark pink and light pink combination it does work.
