Have you tried IKEA? They have great stuff for cheap. But the only drawback is that you have to put it together yourself. It all comes with directions and for the most part is fairly simple.

Well, by now you've heard of eBay? They have several really nice outfits that were in biz before eBay and you do NOT have to "bid" but use the "Buy it now" button. Get shipping free even, do shop around and PUHLEES do NOT go to the eBay shop that makes you wait up to 3 mos to get your long forgotten item and then charges you a king's ransom for the shipping. When the furniture is what, $30? READ the reviews called feedback, I recommend you try some of the ones dealing in antiques, old things have value and increase in value. You can get a bed, armoire, chest or dresser, and nightstand for around $2500. Then you'd have plenty to spend on having it custom finished - you'd get to choose the perfect colors for your home. Plus, you get that decorative finish look - distressed or color washed.
