What would the value be of a 1929 north american dining room set?

Question:1929 north american dining room set in very good shape..consists of the following
4 leaf drop down hideaway dining table
5 chairs and 1 arm chair with leather seat cushions
china hutch
buffet hutch with minor top water spots

Answers:
You didn't mention what kind of wood this set is made of, but if it was mahogany, cherry or walnut, and if I had that in my antique shop, I'd price it as follows:

Table & Chairs - $450
Buffet - $400
Hutch - $475

This is, of course, assuming all pieces are in great condition. And this is "retail" pricing. If selling to an individual, you could probably get one half to one third of the prices I quoted.

Wow...you got an antique dealer to give you an answer!
I'd take a picture and get it appraised - it's a small cost for your best value.
otherwise, do a search for your style furniture and also antique sites
