It all gets dirty, it's just that you can't see the dirt so much on dark colors.
Try, dark green, navy blue, black or maybe a floral print of some type.
it depends on what else is in the room but i like slate grey, BLACK BLACK, and really dark rich red (more like garnet, or claret or one of those wine colors).
Any dark color, but especially grey.
burgundy, charcoal, rust/sienna
