Question:we need to buy curtains 4 our house. we already painted it and everything, we just need window stuff. are there any really gud stores that hav great prices and great curtains?

I thought your mom is going to India to get curtains!! Anyway,I think Linens N Things would be helpful especially since Mother's Day is coming they should have a sale. Try checking Home Depot or Lowes maybe. Good luck buddyhead!

"You get what you pay for" really applies here. You can buy from Big Box Store or you can go Custom. Are you in a colder climate? Do you need heavy drapes, maybe interlined? Do you have blinds and maybe just want a valance or cornice? Roman shades are great in bathrooms. Pull up to let in light and close for privacy. With big box stores, you get their styles and fabric choices and usually not great quality, not to mention not always the correct size.
If you go custom, you get to pick your styles and fabrics and have them made to fit your windows. You can usually get different styles in the same room/area from the same fabrics and also add soft goods, such as toss pillows or table runners. Did you set a budget for window treatments? Custom work isn't the most inexpensive way to go. But you can opt to do just one room at a time.
