Loft bed for adults?

Question:My husband and I are in love with the concept of a loft bed, however we are in love with our king size bed! Any way to combine the two? I did a little searching on the web and didn't see any readily available king or even queen sized loft beds! Any help would be appreciated! Oh, would it be overly expensive to make our own? Thanks again!

the problem is with the weight of it. it might not be safe for you or anyone walking under it. that might be why you don't see anything pre-made. good luck if you are trying to build your own. it might be a pick-n-choose kind of thing.
