Im looking for ideas of something to put in this container.?
Question:I love this jar, it's the big one (MUCH bigger in person) but I dont know what to put in it. Im more of a functional person rather than someone who has something that just looks nice. Im stumped because it is sooo huge! Any ideas?

the list is endless! Depends on which room you want to use it in..

You can put it in your kitchen and put sereal in it. Take the cereal out of its box and put it there. Or you can put cotton balls in some.
Sea shells.
Might work for pasta (bags/boxes of spaghetti etc), or even as a cookie jar!
it depends where you want to put the jar? in the kitchen i would use for tea pouches or different kinds of small packages of cofee. in your licing room put different kinds of almost used up candels when you get enough put a long wick in it.
this sounds like the type of jar that would be great for putting spare change in and putting it on your dresser,it would help keep pennies from laying around everywhere. then once it is full take it to the back and trade it in for cash, then start filling the jar agian. im into interior design that helps instead of clutters. and ive had the same problem.
That depends on where you are going to put it.
Why not create a sand art project, Find out where you want to put it, and take the colors from that room. Go to the craft store and purchase colored sand, Say you start with blue pour the blue in the bottom and then take the nextt color and drizzle a little in one side until you have a hill, next to it add the next color the same way. continue this all around the jar. Now choose the nex color and pour that in to make a solid layer, after that at another layer of another color now take a straw and insert it through the top layer to the next solid layer, and gently remove, you have not created another pattern. Just use your imagination,You can also top this with artificial flowers facing out(just the heads of them). This creation can last a long time, and when people ask Where did you get that? You can proudly say I Made It.
I have a similar jar that holds soap balls. But the possibilities are endless.
hair brushes
curling irons
rolled up wash cloths
hair ties
pens and pencils and post-its
make-up
potpourri and a scoop
Anything goes, it's a great jar.
pasta or rice for conventional or maybe a candle for lookswith some colored beads going up the side of it
Lemons and Limes - very summery. I've also seen oranges in these large jars.
Shells
Bath soaps
Ornaments (at the holidays)
If you had a collection of small items (ex. thimbles, marbles, matchbooks) you could put your collection in it.
If being functional is your objective, use it for all your hair accessories like... scrunchies, barrette's, pony tail holders and head bands. Hope this helps.
Bath / Spa products
Craft supplies
Lotions
3 candles not all the same size.
Tall ficus plants, umbrellas, you could even hide valuables at the bottom and don't tell anyone.
How about cosmetics, wash cloths, soup mix, hairbrushes or ties and clips for hair, tv guide and remote, and the sky is the limit
