What makes a better non-vented range hood?

Question:We need to purchase a new range hood. Unfortunately our only option is non-vented. Does a CFM or Sone rating matter in this type? I know it won't get rid of much more than grease but I would like it to be somewhat quiet. That being said, what are a few good models?

We have a Allure made by Braun, it cost a little bit more but is very quiet and works well. Purchased at Home Depot. I believe the sone rating is how loud it is.
