Do you have coastal design tips?
Question:I'm looking for information on decorating my home in a coastal type theme except with more clean and modern lines. I would like to keep things bright and airy...not nautical or carribean. Do you know of any resources besides "coastal living" that offer design tips?

Tommy Hilfiger has one of the best coastal looks on the market today...it has very clean lines, great blues...very modern. You can also check into an online company, "Linen Source", for some great looks. Another great website is www.ajmoss.com. They represent several different companies with alot of coastal looks.
You can create a coastal look using "mediterranean style" colors, ie. soft greens, corals, yellows...still keeping your lines clean to not compromise the modern feel you desire. For a more dramatic effect, go deeper on your walls, but softer on the window dressings - bring your punch of color out with toss pillows or rugs.
