What would look good on a brick retain wall and how would i attach if were wood i need any ideas?

Question:

Answers:
a 2 x 6 redwood cap always looks good. Drill holes in the brick with a masonry bit (1/2" would work) about every 3 ft. buy some 6" bolts and use epoxy to "cement" them in the brick. Drill orresponding holes in the redwood, counter sink and bolt the cap to the brick. An easy 1 day project.

You would use tapcon concrete anchors to attach wood to brick.
r u decorating u'r retaining wall or attaching something? I'm not sure of u'r ?

If u want to decorate it... then u can use construction mud & use like u'r spreading icing on a cake then paint over it or jst paint on the wall w/ concrete paint. OR even stain it w/ conrete stain.

i hope that answered u'r ?
