What is the best way to mount wonderboard ontop of concrete?

Question:I am tiling an entry way ontop of a concrete slab. In order to bring the tile to the same level as the hardwood that I will be installing, I need to raise it the thickness of wonderboard.

What is the best way to firmly attach the wonderboard ontop of the concrete floor. I have considered using concrete screws and thinset to bind. Any tips would be appreciated.

Answers:
Use an adhesive that binds concrete. You probably want to avoid screws because the two materials could expand and contract differently and cause splitting in the tile you set. The adhesive should be adequate and keep any cracks from telegraphing up to your tile.

Don't use wonderboard. Float it with non- shrink grout to the right level and not worry about attaching and the attachment failing.
