What are the basic steps involved in replacing ceiling fans?
Question:I've got a couple of ceiling fans I want to replace in my townhouse. As I've never done this, thought I'd see where I needed to start, what the rough costs involved were, etc.?

it is very easy
ok step 1 turn off power and check it with a surge finder to double make sure
2) open the cover and you will find all the wires
disconnect them all and do not use the twist covers buy new ones
3) unscrew all the screws and take it down
4) connect the wires of the new one screw it back on and
TA DA YOUR DONE

Make sure you have the power off to the outlet before you start to mess with those wires!
