How do I achieve the Glazed Painted Cabinet Look?
Question:where the glaze settles into the routered detailing? I'd like my cabinets sort of an ivory with a chocolate brownish glaze to match the marble. Thanks

Check your area for faux finishing classes. Hands on classes are the best way to learn.
There is just no way to teach someone how to do a technique in text. Would you know how to mix your glaze? Do you know the difference in a scumble and normal glaze? Do you know which product line you are going to use?
There are sooooo many details about glazing that you need to know and I highly advise you to do samples before applying any product to your cabinets.
To achieve the look that I think nyou are going for:
Mix your glaze.
Brush it on your cabinets over your base coat.
Remove the glaze with a rag.
It will leave glaze in the indentations.
Use a glaze that is waterbase, that way if you mess up, you can spritz it off and start over.
Good luck!
