Please help not enough tiles to finish tiling bathroom walls.?
Question:I have three walls tiled with white ripply tiles and the fourth wall is tiled half way up, I cannot find the same tiles anywhere to complete the tiling. Can anyone suggest an alternative way to finish that wall.
Answers:
You could consider not finishing the wall all the way up and topping it off with a coordinating border tile. There are a lot of caps available, border strips, even what they call liners or backsplashes that you could use to finish the top. I would paint the wall above and add some artwork to complete the look. But, many bathrooms have walls that are tiled half way as a wainscotting on purpose.
Find a tile in the same size that complements what you already have in place and finish up with that. You don't have much choice.
You don't say what style your bathroom is in, however since you can't find the same tiles anywhere, I'd go for something drastically different. Consider mosaic tiles or mirror tiles? Or else use plain white tiles but hide them with a fitted cabinet or something like that.
mirror.
You can add a accent tile where your tile has stopped and then apply another color tile which sets off the bottom color above your accent tile, your mastic should be soft enough where you can remove the applied tile down to the height where your accent tile will go
You could try a mural in tile to take up that last part of the wall depending on where the fourth wall is...A good tile store can help you design your own or purchase one already fabricated.
