Can you spray paint pine bi-fold doors?

Question:I want to buy some standard bi-fold doors and have them installed. I want them to be painted. Can I prime them and then use canned spray paint to paint them or do I have to use regular paint? Thanks.

Answers:
You can use spray paint on them. Just make sure to use the proper primer for whatever paint you are planning to use.
You might even be able to get by without primming them.
Use a name brand paint they seem to cover better and hold up longer.

You can do that for sure. They even have the primer in a spray can now. Just make sure that you coat it lightly with your paint color so you don't have drips.
