Question about moving into an appartment?
Question:Would you move into a so-so appartment (nothing modern, white walls, not much closet room), living room somewhat narrow) but decent, however GREATLY located ?
Answers:
Yes
When you are young and active, an apatment is just a place to sleep, shower, cook, and use the phone. If you are a homebody, then the limited space may get to you after awhile. Small living spaces are a great way to minimize material posessions.
I wouldn;t I need lots of space..as I have too much furniture
you have to decide which is more important to you
good luck
Sounds like your in love with the location more than the apartment. You need to think about whether you'll be spending your free time out & about or if you like to stay in and have friends over hosting parties. If you like going out and go to other friends homes more then you shouldn't be too cramped for space.. However, if you like to be the hostess and enjoy having people over constantly you may want to keep looking.
I just moved into an apartment, that at first and second sight I loved, and I am pretty happy with the location...but after actually living in the apartment I realize there are things I don't like about the place (no water pressure in the shower, no storage/counter space in the kitchen, etc.) But, I still love the hardwood floors, arched doorways, and tons of closet space. I can live with the other problems because of the redeeming qualities and location...especially since it is only an apartment I'm renting for a year. I think you would be hard pressed to find a GREAT apartment anywhere...but that's why you only rent them. Having moved from where I was commuting to work an hour and a half each way, down to 30 mins. each way, I know the importance of a great location. You can make any situation work if you're willing. Good luck!
