Chandelier Dilemma...?

Question:We are decorating our new apartment and I cannot find a solution to our Chandelier dilemma.
Our apt style is modern, almost lofty, very simple, some angular lines, white walls, ivory leather sofa, and we have combined it with some inherited old furniture, old radio, and some vintage, bold accents, a la eclectic style, we have bought a very cute chandelier (with some almost black/dark purple crystals, it holds real candles) for our dining area, but now I am not sure on what to put against the dining area wall, and how it will fit to the chandelier, we had initially thought to put a large canvas print of a rendered picture of my favorite landscape view, and now i am not sure if this will fit together.
Thanks very much in advance for your ideas and help!

Answers:
I am a big fan of using mirrors around candles. It doubles the glow coming from the flame and makes for a warm and comforting eating environment. You certainly could find an awesome mirror surrounded with a black or wrought iron frame at Pier1, Cost Plus or even at the discounters.
