Bathroom decor tips?
Question:the tile in my bathroom is a kind of icky yellow (can't change it--renting) and I was wondering what the heck kind of colour would go well with this (for the shower curtain, bathmat etc.). I'm leaning towards blues--sort of a medium vibrant blue. Any of you decor-savvy people out there have tips? I want the bathroom to have a sort of fresh, tranquil feel to it. I already have a daisy-shaped bathmat, shaped like a blue daisy with a yellow centre.

Blue and yellow are complimentary colors and work well together. You could add white as well for a clean fresh feel. Many French Country decorating lines use blue, yellow and white. Some white wicker baskets or accessory pieces would look great with the blue and yellow. Add a plant and wah la!
Dark blue , purple or black and white I once bought purple towels for someone that had a yellow bathroom and she just loved them. Have fun and let us know !

Try a shower curtain in some print with the blue, yellow, and white.
Pick one ot two of these for accessories - toothbrush holder, tumbler, soap and/or lotion dispenser, trash can.
Add towels in yellow, blue, or white, or the print of the shower curtain.
i would do the same thing with the bathroom blues are good even greens would be great my kitchen is greens blues and yellows if you go with blues maybe you could put some sea shells in there daisy stuff is cute too i do sunflowers in my kitchen
blues are going to make the yellow stand out even more than it does now.
My advice would be to pull in some deep champagne reds and go a bit bold.
