What is a good color for a computer room /craft room?
Question:it is a med size room want it to feel cheerful
Answers:
Depending on what the furniture is doing in the room can really accent the color of the walls. Maybe lighter shades since you will be doing crafts and computer work in this room.
if i were you i would paint it red
Tan should be nice, and is also soft and gentle on your eyes, with the correct lighting it would be amazing.
Wow - that's tough! You'll want it bright and reflective for crafts but subdued to not drown out the computer screen too much.
I would probably go with a medium beige or light pumpkin or color with a matte or eggshell finish. You'll probably want to add a dimmer to the main lighting and have specialized task lighting for both crafts and the computer.
Since this is a ' hands on' room, why not paint it white/ivory/lt gray with different color handprints in bright red, green, blue, yellow?
Or paint each wall one of your favorite colors in a bright shade - hot pink/lemon/turquoise/lime.
Or just pick you and your spouse's favorites, use one for walls and the other for floor and window coverings. I like to use warm,'energy' colors in work rooms like pink, red, peach, orange, banana, or light gold for baclground [ walls ], with a cooler color like mint, sage, aqua, sky or dusty blue, lavender or eggplant to add a 'calm' feel.
Don't forget to scotchguard any upholstery and use washable paint!
