What is the easiest way to remove concrete on a sub floor without damaging the sub floor?

Question:

Answers:
The only way I have ever done it is by pounding away at it with a 3lb lump hammer. Just do a small area at a time. If you have wire mesh in it it will take some time. Your sub floor will survive the hammer thumping as long as you aren't beating the crap out of it. You can also score the concrete with a Carborundum blade (Masonry) o circular saw set to the right depth so as not to cut through the sub floor and try prying up the section scored with a flat bar and tapping on the surface with a hammer to break it.

If the sub floor is well braced, I would use a hammer and chisel and get a section off and then I would work from the bottom up. e.i., I would use the chisel to loosen the concrete from the bottom and pull it up,.
chip off a small section then use a chipping hammer to get undernaeth an take out sections at a time.
