Ideas for a teen room...?
Question:im 13 and im redoing my whole room..paint, bedding..bassically everything..im not sure wut i want to do...heres stuff i like.

--moroccan
--music
--paris...like tea cafe type thing.
Please help me...i have no idea where to start!!.and if u have any websights that would help a lot!!..

When I was a teen, I took one wall and plastered it with pictures from magazines and cartoons. Then, I varnished over it to keep it nice and make it shiny. I LOVED it, and when the house was sold, the people who bought it liked it so much that it was one of the reasons they decided to buy the house to begin with!

how bout 50's diner. pink walls, chrome accesories, 50's lps on the wall, a mirror in the shape of 50's glasses and if you can find one a 50's jukebox or something similar
Try an art deco style, using yellow as the primary color. Type art deco into any web search and start flipping through the results.
I think your best bet is Paris theme. It's elegant and will look timeless when you're older.

Ikea is a great store with very unique styles and colors.
For your walls I would suggest doing two different colors. Paint 2 walls yellow and 2 walls another complimentary color you like. This adds a lot of flavor and dimension.
I like picture boards as well. You can decorate them anyway you want. You can hang pics on them to remind you of all your favorite things! Have fun
Great idea! I have a book called "The Paris Apartment: Romantic Decor on a Flea-Market Budget" by Claudia Strasser. Maybe you can find it at a library- there are a lot of pictures to use as inspiration. I used to have my bedroom in a Paris style and I kept all the colors black, white, and yellow. For furniture, I bought cheap things at yard sales (and even Kmart!) just for their shapes- even if they were ugly. Then I repainted everything. If you paint all your furniture white and add pretty antique glass knobs, it will look like a room full of antiques. Also, find something that resembles a chandelier to replace your light fixture. I made my own by looping a bunch of long strings of fake pearls around the bare light fixture and it looked kind of eccentric and vintage. Then for pictures and posters, find some black and white photography. You can't go wrong with old pictures of Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, etc.- but it depends on your tastes. And get some old round hatboxes to store stuff in. That's all I can think of, but good luck. It sounds like a fun project and I'm sure your room will look cute when you're done.

scan them , enlarge and then decopage onto canvas.
enlarge different fonts of french words and frame them.
you have the kinda of room style that i have you dont want what everone else has like bright bright colors...i dont think you should fo the paris theme...i was about to do that to my room but them i thought would i like it until im a senior...i still love tat idea...i bought lamps and stuff for the room and then changes my mind...well i live with just my mom so i have my room which is like an indian moroccan theme...and it is the best room in the house it is so relaxing and i kno i'll like for a while...i painted it like a yellow color and got some darker wood and wicker end tables and i went to target and they had this thing caned the goobal bazzar which actually had handmade things from morocco and india..i have a lot of gold accents and then some splashes of brighter pink, orange and like aqua so its not too old looking. i have a lot of incents and candels to its so relaxing to be in there. i have another room to becasue only 2 ppl in my family and three bedroom and i use the smaller one as my hangout room...i painted it bright green and blue but i grew out of it now and wanna redo it so i wanna make it like retro chic kinda vintagey...i was thinking of painting it like a pinkey peachish color and get a futon and cool lamps and stuff..i have my moms old records that i wanna hang on the walls too so idk
