How do I install a bathroom on the top floor?

Question:I am afraid to just start ripping holes in my house, but it shouldn't look like a job that's half done. There is no plumbing at all on the top floor of my house. I really want a bathroom up there and I don't know where to begin?

Answers:
If not the outside, find a route to bring up your 3'' drain and use the same chase for the waterlines./
If none is available, dive outside and make a chase for the pipes and then begin your adventure of designing your bathroom.
Another feature you can look for are closets that are over one another and fish through there to the basement.
Usually bearing walls have chases in line and you can plow through there as well

let some1 else do it cost a couple grand but bathrooms r not for beggginers try finishing your basement.
This is a big project, you need to start with at least two books, both by Black and Decker, The Complete Guide to Home Plumbing and the Complete Guide to Home Wiring. You want to locate your bath over one the floor below if possible to save headaches.
The EASIEST way is just to fill the room a quarter of the way up with clumpable kitty litter. Make sure you scoop it often or the smell will go through the entire house. :)
