I'm making a piece[s] of furniture out of Purpleheart wood [it's really PURPLE], & i don't know what to make?!
Question:I have about 20board feet of Purpleheart & I wanna make a nice, sellable piece[s] of furniture out of it. I could make a set of nesting tables, dining table, chest of drawers, etc. WHAT SHOULD I MAKE?

I wouldn't do a dining room table but accent tables or a dresser for a girl would be really good, if the wood is already a beautiful color don't stain it but I would do something like that, if you are going to do accent tables make them contemporary to go with the times, it's going to be a more contemporary look with purple.
I once made a coffee table from 10 year old seasoned oak with a limed finish and turned legs, I also made a really crap bed at school as i wanted to make it out of pine with an unusual headboard but teacher said pine was too heavy and i should make it from MDF, thats why it was crap and incredibly heavy. You should make a really weird yet creative bed that hasn't been done before. Smoke some weed to get your imagination going.
