Scrub absolutely clean & dry. Check with the experts; I remember reading about a 2 part epoxy system to re-do a tub. Tubs are horizontal & showers are oh so vertical.
There are lots of bathroom refinishing outfits; probably high dollar but maybe well worth the expense.
Go to lowes and ask for a paint or repair kit and they will advise you of your options
