Did I screw up my shower mortar bed?

Question:I am building a custom shower. There is 2" pvc drain in a concrete slab. I added the drain flange and poured a sloping mortar bed which slopes 1/4 inch for every foot from the drain. However, the mortar bed has lots of high and low spots i.e. the slope is not even. (photo url below) . Is this OK? If not, how do I fix it? The next steps are the PVC liner followed by another sloped mortar bed which the tile will go on. Thanks for your help.

Answers:
If there is nothing jagged etc. that would puncture the PVC liner it should be O.K., but if it were me doing it I would knock down any large humps ( with a scraper) and buy a bag of thinset mortar and skim over it with a flat trowel. Just to have a good flat surface to start with.

Na. You're ok.

God Bless
My observations. I'm not able to see much depth in the photos. I looks very uneven, high's and low's as you stated. The concrete should have been "floated" with a trowel. You can patch the concrete. The pour appears to be too high from this view of the flange. Is there clearance?
