What does it cost to refinish a wooden door ?
Question:the doors are interrior and hollow core
Answers:
It should run about $75-$100 per side of each door, which would include some minor sanding, a coat of oil-based "Kills" primer, and two coats of paint if you have a contractor do it for you.
If your doing it yourself, a sanding sponge is about $2-$3, the primer can be found at Home Depot or Lowe's for about $5-$7 per can- 1 can per side, and the paint will run about $10 to $15 per quart- 1 quart should cover 2 sides of a door. This gives you a grand total of $25 to do it yourself.
Other materials you may not have
Purdy brush- $13.00
Drop cloth- $15.00
Masking Tape- $3.00
Hope that helps

It depends what condition you door is. If it's painted or varnished and the surface is smooth, but you don't like the colour - it's very cheap, just the cost of a paintbrush and special wood paint or stain. If the paint or varnish has chipped or flaked - morer work needs to be done to it. If the damage is not big - you just need to sand the damaged area with coarse sand paperthen with smooth one, scorch the rest of the door with medium sandpaper so that the new paint would hold better, then paint over it. If the damage is big - you may need to strip the paint first, then paint it all over again.
If you are hiring someone to do this -they will base their prices on amount of time it takes and materials used.
