How to fix painting goof?
Question:I just put the first coat of fresh paint on my dining room yesterday. The walls are a cappuccino color with white crown molding and chair rail.
Problem is – The top of the chair rail is sooo thin that it was impossible not to get brown on it. I don’t think I can use Goof Off on it because it’s so thin. What can I do to get the brown off?
Answers:
The way to fix it is not to try to take the paint off. You just need to paint more white over the "goof" to straighten out the line. Masking tape may also be be in order to help with the straight line.

paint thinner or nail polish or even rubbing alcohol might work... or you can just repaint it...
You should probably just touch it up with white paint. Meanwhile, I would tape off all the molding with painter's tape, so you don't have to do a lot of touching up.
get a very small angled brush a good brush (a purdy or wooster) they are easier to use than cheap nylon and touch it up
